LOCKDOWN!!
I like being able to stay home with my family but I'm bored.
We've baked a lot and we made some vanilla cupcakes with buttercream icing on top and some blueberry muffins. They were really yummy.
I think the photo of me eating the cupcake is funny.
These are the cakes we made.
We decorated the top with cool sprinkles and little silver balls.
The cupcakes were my favourite.
I also did some measuring of water.
I used a measuring cup that was 250ml in to a ice cream container to find out how much liquid I could fit in it.
10 cups! It was fun but I tipped water on the chair.
Hi Elijah, great to see your first blog post! I'm so pleased Casper and Mum were able to help you. Your cupcakes and muffins look delicious! The photo of you eating the cupcake does look pretty funny! I loved your exploring of the volume of an ice cream container. Here's a problem for you and the family to solve. If each cup holds 250millilitres and you used 10 cups, how many millilitres were in the whole ice cream container? I will be on the look out for more of your blog posts soon!
ReplyDeleteI worked it out yesterday in my maths homework from Mr Martin. It was about measurement. it would be 2500ml.
ReplyDeleteWOW!!!Elijah. It's great to see you. What great support your family have been to help you put up your blog.Casper mentioned in his blog, that all the muffins got eaten in 2 days.I wonder whose tummies they ended up in!.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see more of the wonderful things you are doing....KEEP POSTING and I'll keep reading them.
Hello Elijah.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see more of your wonderful work.
Just wishing you a safe and happy day.Have a lovely weekend and I hope to see you soon.
Hi Elijah, It is exciting to have a blog post to read. I love that you have put photographs on. Have you compared the volume in an icecream container to anything else?
ReplyDeleteI have been baking also but not as fancy as your cupcakes. They look good enough to sell!
